SPECTRAL STRUCTURE OF A WELDING INVERTER ALTERNATING CURRENT

Design of converting devices (particularly, welding inverter) is associated with the necessity to meet the requirement of lectromagnetic compatibility. To solve this problem it is necessary to evaluate a spectral content of feeder current in the converter. By the example of the 30kHz AC welding inverter the authors show the implemetation of such evaluation by means of computer modeling of processes in a circuit. Reliability of the obtained image of the output current spectrum is proved by the research results of a physical sample. The article adduces the dependences between the spectral power and width and the current pulse ratio. It is shown that at the moment of electric arc break on the frequence of 5MHz, there appear new components of considerable amplitude.
